Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality held the 'Imagination Workshop Children's Festival' at Mutluca Emine Koç Primary and Secondary School as part of the October 29 Republic Day events. At the event organized under the coordination of the Department of Culture, Art and Social Affairs, students spent time in a wide range of activities from art workshops to technological experiences.

Within the scope of the festival, marbling, mosaic, tile, ceramic, and painting workshops were established to enable students to discover their artistic skills. While Hacivat and Karagöz shows and clown performances provided children with entertaining moments, PlayStation and virtual reality (VR) headset experiences provided by the Information Processing Department allowed them to meet with technology.

The Climate Change and Zero Waste Department, on the other hand, gave zero waste training to the students. During the training, subjects such as the separation of waste at the source, recycling processes, and the efficient use of natural resources were covered. School Principal Salih Akbulut and the students expressed their gratitude to Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mehmet Kasım Gülpınar and the municipal teams for the organized event.
