The indigenous Electronic Warfare Self-Protection System, developed within the Turkish defense industry, has begun offering the capability to detect and identify enemy radars and missile threats, as well as apply electronic countermeasures, by being integrated into air platforms such as the F-16 and KIZILELMA.

The Electronic Warfare Suite developed by ASELSAN detects threats around the aircraft, enabling the platform to understand who is targeting it. Operating in coordination with the AESA radar on the aircraft, the system answers questions regarding who can see the aircraft, which radar is tracking it, and whether there is a missile threat present.

It is stated that the functional qualification of the system's components has been completed and they are actively in use, though a precise number regarding how many aircraft the system has been integrated into so far is not available in open sources.
