In Kütahya, awareness campaigns on a wide range of health services, from cancer screenings to organ donation, are being conducted at stands set up in Zafer Square for the September 3-9 Public Health Week.
Public Health Theme Every Day
The events organized by the Kütahya Provincial Health Directorate are being held this year under the theme 'Public Health Every Day.' The stands set up in Zafer Square aim to facilitate citizens' access to primary healthcare services.
Comprehensive Health Services
At the event area, expert personnel are providing information on topics such as cancer screenings, healthy nutrition, physical activity, mental health, and organ donation. Family physicians are sharing details about the services offered at family health centers with citizens.
Provincial Health Director Ensar Durmuş stated that such efforts aim to increase public health awareness and emphasize the importance of preventive health services.
Efforts to Combat Addiction
As part of the fight against tobacco addiction, smoking cessation clinic specialists are also present at the stands. Dr. Fatih Kutlu is providing guidance to citizens on carbon monoxide measurement and psychosocial support methods during the smoking cessation process.
