AI Firm Nscale Faces Investor Pushback Over IPO Valuation

Nvidia Corp.-backed data center developer Nscale Ltd. has encountered resistance from investors over its targeted valuation of approximately $30 billion in its planned initial public offering (IPO).

According to sources close to the matter, following market downturns experienced by artificial intelligence companies, some investors are approaching Nscale's targeted high valuation with caution.

It was stated that the investor group, considering factors such as the failure of Australian AI data center firm Firmus's IPO plan, indicated that a valuation between $16 billion and $19 billion would have a higher chance of finding buyers.
