Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi: Europe is also paying the price for its miscalculations

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, speaking at a joint press conference in Tehran with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, accused European countries of supporting attacks against Iran. Araghchi stated that Europe, much like the US, is paying the price for its miscalculations.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi met with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov in Tehran to discuss regional developments. Arguing that European countries have partnered with the US in attacks against Iran, Araghchi said, "Europe must face the facts; Europe, just like the US, is paying the price for its miscalculations." Emphasizing that crises can only be resolved through diplomatic means, Araghchi also touched upon security issues in the Caspian Sea and the Strait of Hormuz.
