J.P. Morgan Menkul Değerler A.Ş. announced in a statement to the Public Disclosure Platform that it will apply to the Capital Markets Board with the request to cancel its intermediary institution operating license. If the application is approved, the company will suspend its capital market activities.

According to the statement made to the Public Disclosure Platform, J.P. Morgan Menkul Değerler A.Ş. will apply to the Capital Markets Board (CMB) with the request to cancel its operating license. In the event of approval, the company will lose its status as an intermediary institution and cease its operations.

Customers who claim to have rights or receivables due to investment services and activities are required to apply to both the company and the CMB within three months from the date of the announcement. Those who have filed a lawsuit are asked to submit the summary of judgment document (derkenar belgesi), and those who have initiated execution proceedings are asked to submit the relevant documents.

In the additional statement, it was emphasized that this step does not mean the global bank is withdrawing from Turkey and that banking activities will continue. It was conveyed that the company has not actually carried out operations since July 3, 2015, and the process was planned to formalize the legal status.
