Karatay Winter Sports Schools Started with 1669 Students in 13 Branches
Karatay Municipality Winter Sports Schools have started their new training period, which will continue until January 10, 2027, with the participation of 1669 students in 13 different branches.
Training for the new term has been launched at Karatay Municipality Winter Sports Schools with a total participation of 1669 students across 13 different branches. Aiming to instill sports habits in children from an early age, the training sessions will continue until January 10, 2027.
Within the scope of the Winter Sports Schools, training is provided in football, basketball, volleyball, swimming, tennis, table tennis, archery, gymnastics, taekwondo, judo, wrestling, kickboxing, and chess branches. In the program with a total of 1669 students, there are 775 female and 894 male students. While the highest interest was shown in the swimming branch with 390 students, swimming is followed by football, tennis, volleyball, basketball, and gymnastics.
Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca stated that they wish for children to spend less time in front of screens and more time on sports fields, thanked families and instructors, and wished the students success.
