Kayseri 8th Science Festival BİLİMFEST Opens Its Doors
Realized in cooperation with Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality and TÜBİTAK, the 8th Science Festival opened its doors at Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Millet Bahçesi.
The official opening ceremony of the Kayseri 8th Science Festival (BILIMFEST), organized in cooperation with Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality and TÜBİTAK, was held at Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Millet Bahçesi with the intensive participation of protocols and citizens.
The opening ceremony held at the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Millet Bahçesi large event area was attended by Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Memduh Büyükkılıç, Kayseri Governor Gökmen Çiçek, TBMM National Defense Commission Chairman and AK Party Kayseri Deputy Hulusi Akar, AK Party MKYK Member and Kayseri Deputy Dursun Ataş, Defense Industry Vice President Mustafa Murat Şeker, deputies, and numerous citizens.
In his opening speech, Mayor Memduh Büyükkılıç thanked the Ministry of Industry and Technology, TÜBİTAK, TUSAŞ, Turkish Aeronautical Association, TOMTAŞ, and Air Supply institutions, while also expressing the goal of hosting a TEKNOFEST in the city in the future.
Approximately 55 institutions and sub-institutions contributed to the organization, and about 1,200 personnel are on duty throughout the event. Scientific activities, technology applications, interactive workshops, and aviation shows within the scope of the festival meet with visitors.
In order to facilitate transportation to the event area, free transportation service is provided by Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality every 30 minutes between Cumhuriyet Meydanı Kale Önü Stop and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Millet Bahçesi with the bus line numbered 693.
