Kerem Helvacıoğlu Appointed as Pfizer Turkey Health Policy and Communications Leader

Having undertaken various roles within Pfizer since 2008, Kerem Helvacıoğlu was appointed as Pfizer Turkey Health Policy and Communications Leader as of November 1, 2026. With this new role, Helvacıoğlu also became a member of the Pfizer Turkey Leadership Team.

Graduating from Middle East Technical University, Department of Industrial Engineering with a minor program in international economics, Kerem Helvacıoğlu completed his master's degree at Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Economics. Throughout his career at Pfizer, he assumed different responsibilities in the fields of health policy, health economics, and market access.

In the Health Policy Department, he contributed to analysis studies focusing on financing, public and private healthcare expenditures, macroeconomic developments, and pharmaceutical policies during Turkey's healthcare system transformation process. Transitioning to the Health Economics Department in 2015, he became responsible for pharmacoeconomic analyses supporting the reimbursement processes of treatments in various categories, and also contributed to the ACCORD project supporting access to healthcare services in low-income countries.

Serving as Senior Market Access Manager since August 2024, Helvacıoğlu managed strategies in the oncology category and represented Pfizer in activities within the scope of AIFD. In his new role, he will lead the company's policy, communications, and patient advocacy strategies.
