Dijital çağda beden ve varoluş sorgulanıyor

A joint project of Sanat Okur and Labirent Sanat, the Maps and Territories exhibition will be open to visitors at Labirent Sanat from November 3, 2026, to January 2, 2027. Bearing the distinction of being the first portfolio exhibition, the event critically examines the transformation of the body into data by digital systems within today's techno-feudal order.

Inspired by Michel Houellebecq's thoughts on the relationship between map and territory, the exhibition places bodily experience and material existence at its center against the abstractions of the digital world. Featuring works by Dila Kasapoğlu, Dilara Göl, Emel Ezal, Emre Celali, Hüseyin Rüstemoğlu, Melis İmrağ, Merve Gözde Bingül, Sena Gökçeoğlu, Yasin Öztekin, and Zeynep Abacı, the selection explores the relationship between the body, surface, and representation through figurative works.

Using various materials such as paper, acrylic, and oil paint in the exhibition, the human body is portrayed not merely as a represented object, but as a living entity in constant interaction with its environment.
