World-renowned cinematographer and filmmaker Maxime Alexandre is directing the film "Soy," the first project in Turkey by Rozam Media, founded by Turki Al Alshikh, a royal advisor in Saudi Arabia. Telling the story of an ancient curse that stretches from Egypt to Istanbul, Alexandre states that he focuses on the power of cinematography to establish a connection between the characters' past and present. Having previously worked with Turki Al Alshikh on the film "Cello," Alexandre joined this project after meeting Saner Ayar.

In the film, with a screenplay developed by Şükrü Necati Şahin, Turki Al Alshikh, and Melih Özyılmaz, the director expresses that despite the challenges of working with Turkish actors, he realized his vision through teamwork. He emphasizes that the film's core message is the wounding power of betrayal and that the past cannot be used to justify mistakes.
