Media Training Provided to Speda TV Employees by TRT Akademi
As part of its efforts to share international broadcasting experience, TRT Akademi organized digital media training in Sorani for Speda TV personnel.
Continuing to share its broadcasting expertise of over half a century internationally, TRT Akademi conducted a special digital media training in the Sorani language for Speda TV employees on October 7–8, 2026.
Scope of the Training and Highlighted Topics
During the two-day training program, digital content creation processes, strategies for social media platforms, and the effective use of digital channels as broadcasting sources were discussed in detail.
Social Media Platforms and Approaches
Among the training topics, the place of popular platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, X, and TikTok in broadcasting processes was examined, while approaches for preparing content specific to different mediums were conveyed to the participants.
First Program Held in the Sorani Language
Organized for Speda TV personnel, this program stands out as the first to be conducted in the Sorani language and supports inter-institutional experience sharing.
Scope of International Training Activities
It was stated that within the scope of TRT's international training activities, a total of 166 training programs in digital media, television, news, and radio have been organized to date, with thousands of foreign media professionals participating.
Activities Carried Out Specifically in Iraq
It was stated that a total of 21 training programs have been implemented specifically in Iraq so far, and that a total of 213 media employees have benefited from these programs.
