Tekirdağ Metropolitan Municipality organized an awareness seminar at the Saray Atatürk Cultural Center as part of its efforts prioritizing women's health. Led by Mayor Dr. Candan Yüceer, the event addressed the menopause process, a natural stage of women's lives, in all its aspects.
The seminar focused on topics such as the definition of menopause, hormonal changes, hot flashes, sleep problems, mood changes, and bone health. Emphasizing that menopause is not a disease, experts drew attention to the importance of regular health check-ups and expert support to manage this process consciously. It was reported that the program aimed to increase social awareness by ensuring women have access to accurate information.
