Meta says Muse has over 10M users, with shopping a top activity | TechCrunch

In its third-quarter earnings announcement, Meta announced that its AI-powered application Muse has reached over 10 million users. Company CEO Mark Zuckerberg stated that approximately 25% of users utilize the application daily and spend an average of over $200 on shopping transactions.

In addition to shopping, personal productivity tasks such as email and calendar integration stand out among Muse users. Zuckerberg stated that the 'Muse Secure VM' feature is used to increase user trust regarding security, and that the 'Muse Confidential VM' system, which will prevent even Meta from seeing the content, will arrive soon.

Meta plans to keep Muse free by collecting commissions on commerce and offering paid subscriptions for advanced models. The company aims to make Muse's processing power costs 10 times more efficient next year and to generate more revenue per user in the long run than its current applications.

Future plans include a system called the 'Muse network', where users' AI agents can interact with each other. Furthermore, Muse holds a central position in Reality Labs' smart glasses strategy.
