MHP Leader Bahçeli Emphasizes Terror-Free Turkey and Regional Developments
Devlet Bahçeli stated that the goal of a terror-free Turkey will be pursued with determination, while reacting to Israel's attacks and Greece's policies.
Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli emphasized that steps in the fight against terrorism will continue with seriousness and be completed as soon as possible. Bahçeli also made evaluations regarding regional developments, provocations against Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the domestic political agenda.
Goal of a Terror-Free Turkey
Nationalist Movement Party Chairman Devlet Bahçeli stated that Turkey will not step back from its path and the decision of the Turkish nation. Stating that steps towards a terror-free Turkey will continue to be taken with great seriousness and sincerity, he noted that the process will be finalized as soon as possible.
Israel and Regional Security
Reacting very harshly to provocations against Al-Aqsa Mosque and Israel's regional aggression, Bahçeli pointed out that deterrent power elements must be deployed at points where diplomacy falls short. He also condemned the Houthi attacks targeting civilian infrastructure in Saudi Arabia.
Greece's Steps
Stating that Greece aligning with Israel and adopting a stance against Turkey's rights and interests would be a grave mistake for the Athens administration, Bahçeli emphasized that such regional policies should be avoided.
Domestic Politics and Corruption Allegations
Stating that Turkey is going through a comprehensive period of purification in the public sector and politics, Bahçeli touched upon the fund investigations and the allegations of corruption and bribery raised in municipalities run by the opposition. He said that the opposition uses the fund crisis as an escape ramp.
