Million-Lira Support for Amateur Sports Clubs and Successful Athletes in Bursa
At a ceremony held at the Merinos Atatürk Congress and Culture Center, financial resources were allocated to hundreds of amateur sports clubs as well as athletes and coaches who achieved international degrees.
Within the scope of the Support Program for Amateur Sports Clubs and the Award Night for Successful Athletes held in Bursa, a total of over 34 million TL in support was provided to 689 amateur sports clubs in the city and 73 athletes and coaches who achieved success in the international arena.

The Support Program for Amateur Sports Clubs and Award Night for Successful Athletes held in Bursa took place at the Merinos Atatürk Congress and Culture Center Osmangazi Hall.
Statements from the Directorate of Youth and Sports
Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Rahmi Aksoy stated that in cooperation with the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, support was provided to a total of 689 amateur sports clubs and athletes who achieved success in the international arena.
Direct Cash Aid Amount
Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Şahin Biba announced to the public that a total of 31 million 820 thousand TL in direct cash aid will be provided to 689 amateur sports clubs this year.
Awards for Successful Athletes
Within the framework of the program, 2 million 297 thousand 500 TL in support was given to 73 successful athletes and coaches who ranked in the 2024 Paralympic Games and the European and World championships in the 2025-2026 season.
Total Allocated Resource Amount
Along with all these payments made, it was officially announced that a significant financial resource totaling 34 million 117 thousand 500 TL has been allocated to Bursa sports.
Future Period Sports Goals
During the event, it was also emphasized that more than 30 thousand children are currently being trained in the municipality's sports schools and the target for 2027 is to bring 50 thousand children together with sports.
