Ministry of Family and Social Services Combines 15 Social Assistances on Ailekart
With the Ailekart application launched in September 2025, 15 different social assistance payments were moved to a single card. The Ministry announced that 3.6 million cards have been delivered to beneficiaries to date and a total of over 50 billion liras in payments have been made.
The Ministry of Family and Social Services shared current data on the Ailekart project, which it implemented to digitalize social assistance payments. Within the scope of the application carried out since September 2025, 15 different regular social assistance payments were combined on a single card and offered to beneficiaries.
According to Ministry data, 3.6 million Ailekarts have been delivered to beneficiaries to date. The total payment amount made within the scope of the project to date has exceeded 56 billion liras. Operating with an artificial intelligence-supported centralized payment infrastructure, the system provides citizens with the convenience of both cash withdrawal and shopping.
Ailekart offers the opportunity to withdraw cash from TAM ATM points while being usable as a shopping card at all POS devices. The Ministry aims to increase efficiency in identifying those in need through data network integration to be established with local administrations.
