Ministry of Health's 2027 Contracted Personnel Positions Determined
According to the decree published in the Official Gazette, 31,054 contracted healthcare personnel positions have been created to be employed in areas where it is difficult to recruit personnel in 2027.
With the Presidential Decree published in the Official Gazette, 31,054 contracted healthcare personnel positions for the year 2027 have been determined, while it was reported that the regulation does not directly constitute a recruitment announcement.
Within the framework of the Presidential Decree published in the Official Gazette dated October 17, 2026, the contracted healthcare personnel units and position numbers to serve in locations and service branches where recruitment is difficult have been clarified. Within the scope of the practice effective from January 1, 2027, a total quota of 31,054 people has been allocated for the year 2027.
The main purpose of the regulation prepared under Law No. 4924 was stated as ensuring that healthcare services are carried out more effectively in regions experiencing difficulties in personnel recruitment. While the majority of the distribution was allocated to inpatient treatment services, 31,040 positions were assigned to inpatient treatment institutions, 7 to district health directorates and public health centers, 6 to health houses, and 1 to emergency health services.
Following the publication of the decree in the Official Gazette, while the application process became a subject of curiosity, it was stated that the regulation in question is not a direct personnel recruitment announcement and does not mean that applications have started. The published decree did not include any schedule regarding the application date, application method, and conditions required for candidates.
