Ministry of Health's 2027 Contracted Personnel Quota Determined

With Presidential Decree No. 2026/339 published in the Official Gazette dated October 17, 2026, the contracted health personnel positions to be implemented in 2027 and the total quota distribution of 31,054 people became clear. While the decree does not include application dates and conditions, the details of the staff distribution have become definite.

According to the decree published in the Official Gazette dated October 17, 2026, physician cadres constitute the major portion of the total quota of 31,054 people. Within this scope, 25,955 specialist physician and 5,061 physician positions were determined. For other health professional groups, 25 health officer, 9 midwife, 2 nurse, and one position each for the titles of dietitian and health technician were foreseen.

In the distribution of service units, 31,040 positions were allocated for inpatient treatment areas, while 7 positions were placed in district health directorates and community health centers, 6 in health houses, and 1 in emergency health services. The decree did not include any statement regarding application dates, the deadline, required documents, and preference procedures; candidates need to follow future announcements for these details.
