According to a report published by Bursa Bizim Platform Founder Chairman Ferit Gürsoy, the increase in motorcycle use in the city and the ambition to become social media influencers are causing serious traffic safety problems.

In the report published under the signature of Bursa Bizim Platform Founder Chairman Ferit Gürsoy, the proliferation of unlicensed motorcycles, inadequate parking areas, educational deficiencies in driving courses, and standard issues in the courier sector were listed as the main risk areas. It was emphasized that traffic violations threaten not only physical safety but also the psychological peace of citizens.

Stating that the passion among young drivers to become influencers takes precedence over the rules, the report noted that dangerous driving content shared on social media has drawn reactions. According to the platform's assessment, some accounts sharing such footage can easily pay traffic fines with the income they generate and turn rule-breaking driving into a revenue model.

The report drew attention to the fact that footage such as escaping from the police, high speed, riding on one wheel, and zigzagging receives millions of views, and stated that these shares normalize risky behaviors. It was requested that these accounts be processed under the coordination of BTK and Security units, unlicensed motorcycles be banned from traffic, and advanced driving certification be made compulsory for instructors in driving courses. In addition, it was requested that a workshop be organized with the participation of the Bursa Governorship, Metropolitan Municipality, Provincial Directorate of Security, and Provincial Directorate of National Education.
