The Mustafa V. Koç Sports Awards, organized for the 10th time this year in collaboration with Koç Holding and the National Olympic Committee of Turkey, found their owners with a ceremony held at Divan Kuruçeşme on October 21. Nesrin Baş won the award in the Olympic category, Umut Ünlü in the Paralympic category, and Mehmet Akif Üstündağ in the Lifetime Contribution to Sports category.

The award ceremony, held to keep alive the memory of the late Mustafa V. Koç, who believed in the transformative power of sports and supported sports throughout his life, took place with the participation of members of the Koç Family, Koç Holding executives, TMOK executives, and distinguished guests. In the process where 102 candidates were evaluated this year, a total of seven finalists in three categories were determined by the Selection Committee. As a result of the jury's evaluation, national wrestler Nesrin Baş in the Olympic category, national swimmer Umut Ünlü in the Paralympic category, and Turkish Volleyball Federation President Mehmet Akif Üstündağ in the Lifetime Contribution to Sports category were deemed worthy of the award.
