National judoka take to the tatami in Italy for the Under-23 European Championships
Representing Turkey at the Under-23 European Championships, 3 female and 3 male national judoka have completed their preparations and are taking to the tatami for the medal battle in Naples, Italy.
National judoka are taking to the tatami to compete for medals at the Under-23 European Championships held in Naples, Italy. Turkey is represented at the championship by 3 female and 3 male athletes.
According to the statement by the Turkish Judo Federation, the organization is taking place in the city of Naples. While 285 athletes from 36 countries are participating in the championship, the national team has traveled to Italy under the management of head coach Mesut Kapan.
In the national team squad, Zilan Ertem competes in the 48 kg category, Ecem Baysuğ in the 70 kg category, and Yağmur Yılmaz in the +78 kg category among women, while Yunus Emre Esenboğa in the 60 kg category, Erman Gürgen in the 81 kg category, and Recep Ergin in the +100 kg category compete among men.
