New Employment and Social Security Projects by SSI for 2027

The Social Security Institution (SSI) is planning comprehensive projects to be launched in 2027 to increase employment and reduce undeclared work in Turkey. New regulations covering many areas, from the participation of youth in business life to the social security of domestic workers, are being worked on.

The Social Security Institution plans to implement new projects in 2027 aiming to increase the participation of youth and women in business life. Within the scope of the Project for Increasing Registered Female Employment through the Development of Eldercare Services, certificate support and employment incentives will be offered to women. The Project for Supporting Registered Youth Employment, prepared to reduce youth unemployment, will be implemented in Ankara, Istanbul, and Izmir, aiming to reach a total of 2,400 young people by supporting 1,200 young employers and 1,200 young employees.

The project prepared in cooperation with the International Labour Organization for the transition of domestic workers to registered employment is expected to start in 2027. Within the scope of the Employability Project to be carried out through the International Organization for Migration, incentive payments are projected to be made to 5,340 insured individuals for 12 months with a budget of 50 million euros. In addition, in order to support the participation of women in business life, regulations regarding the establishment of nurseries and nursing rooms in workplaces with 150 or more female employees are planned to be issued by the end of the year.
