New MRI Machine Being Installed at Çivril Şehit Hilmi Öz State Hospital

Denizli Provincial Health Director Spec. Dr. Berna Öztürk made inspections at Çivril Şehit Hilmi Öz State Hospital and received information from authorities regarding the MRI machine currently being installed and cancer screening services.

Denizli Provincial Health Director Spec. Dr. Berna Öztürk visited the area where the Magnetic Resonance (MRI) device, planned to be put into service for citizens in the coming days, will be installed. Öztürk received detailed information about the works in the preparation phase from Chief Physician Spec. Dr. Burak Koyuncu.

Within the scope of the visit, the Çivril District Health Directorate Cancer Screening Unit within the hospital was also inspected. Receiving information about the ongoing works from District Health Director Spec. Dr. Sergen Düzce and the on-duty personnel, Öztürk observed the screenings carried out in the unit on-site. In the unit, breast cancer screenings are performed for women aged 40-69 and cervical cancer screenings for women aged 30-65, whose transportation from neighborhoods to the hospital is provided. Drawing attention to the importance of early diagnosis as October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Öztürk invited women to have their routine screenings done and not neglect their health checks.
