Nintendo held a comprehensive Indie World Showcase event, introducing new games prepared by independent developers for the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 consoles. The event highlighted magic simulations, roguelike combat titles, and cooperative adventures, while free demos for select games were made available to players.

The presentation organized by Nintendo shared the release schedule for notable indie titles such as Witchbrook, Tenjutsu, and Kitsune: The Journey of Adashino. While it was stated that players would be offered rich alternatives in adventure, puzzle, and simulation genres, it was reported that free demos prepared for titles like Haunted Paws, Petal Runner, RACCOIN: Chaos Max Edition, and Winds of Viridia have met with players via the Nintendo eShop.

The event also featured titles promising multiplayer and chaotic experiences such as Bao Bao’s Cozy Cleaning Services, Super Battle Golf, Dumpster Gang, and R.E.P.O. Alongside City of None, the new project from Celeste's co-creator, games such as Slime Rancher 2, Spirit Crossing, Sword of the Sea, and Threads of Time are planned to be released for the console throughout 2027 and in the coming months.
