North Korea and Russia celebrate anniversary of diplomatic relations in Moscow
At a reception in Moscow, a North Korean diplomat praised relations between the two countries, while a Russian official highlighted the participation of troops in the Kursk region.
North Korea described its relations with Russia as "invincible" at a diplomatic anniversary reception in Moscow, while a Russian official emphasized the participation of North Korean troops in fighting in the Kursk region.
A reception was held in Moscow to mark the 78th anniversary of diplomatic relations between North Korea and Russia. The event, hosted last Tuesday by the North Korean Embassy in Moscow, was announced by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
North Korean Ambassador to Moscow Sin Hong Chol stated that relations between the two countries have reached an unprecedented level thanks to close personal ties between leaders Kim Jong Un and Vladimir Putin.
Speaking at the reception, a Russian deputy foreign minister stated that the clearest indicator of solidarity between the countries was the participation of North Korean soldiers in clashes against Ukrainian forces in Russia's Kursk region.
