North Korea Announces Firing Positions Along the Borderline

Kim Yo Jong, the sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, announced that new North Korean firepower units have taken up firing positions along the border line and issued warnings toward Seoul. As tension around the Demilitarized Zone escalates, both sides threaten to respond to provocations with force.

In a statement to state media, Kim Yo Jong noted that the military leadership emphasized the necessity of informing the opposing side that the new firepower units have taken up firing positions. She also stated that her brother ordered fortifications to make the border permanently impenetrable against the enemy state.
