Number of funds in liquidation process drops to 47
According to the data shared at the Seventh Fund Coordination Committee Meeting, the number of funds in the liquidation process fell from 131 to 47, and a total of 49.7 billion TL was paid out to investors.
The Seventh Fund Coordination Committee, convened under the chairmanship of Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, announced current data regarding the funds in the liquidation process.
According to the statement made by the Directorate of Communications, a total of 49.7 billion TL in-kind and cash payments have been made to 55,755 accounts since the beginning of the liquidation process. The number of funds within the scope of the process decreased from 131 to 47.
The transactions of 18 out of 31 funds belonging to Hedef Portföy Yönetim Şirketi A.Ş., whose liquidation payments started with the CMB's decision dated October 15, 2026, were completed as of October 21, 2026. Within the scope of this transaction, 8.9 billion TL was paid to 10,008 accounts. The liquidation efforts for the company's remaining 13 funds are also targeted to be completed swiftly.
