Nvidia and AMD Join Meta's $95 Billion AI Investment
Nvidia has announced a $3 billion investment and AMD a $1 billion investment in Meta's $95 billion capital increase plan to strengthen its artificial intelligence infrastructure.
Tech giants have pledged support for Meta's plan to raise a total of $95 billion to bolster its AI infrastructure; Nvidia and AMD have announced they will purchase shares worth $3 billion and $1 billion, respectively.
Meta has announced that it has entered a capital increase process totaling $95 billion to finance its investments in artificial intelligence infrastructure. The company aims to raise $35 billion of this amount through a committed public offering in the first phase, with the remaining $60 billion to be raised through programs dependent on market conditions.
The investments from Nvidia and AMD place them among the companies that Meta previously indicated were interested in purchasing up to $5 billion in shares, alongside Broadcom. In addition to this investment, Nvidia stated that they will expand Vera Rubin and Vera CPU deployments with Meta and deepen their collaboration on Muse, the AI agent launched last month.
