Nvidia GTC Berlin: Faster AI factories, lower power use, more secure agents

At the GTC conference held in Berlin, Nvidia announced the DSX POD modular system aimed at accelerating AI infrastructures, energy-efficient cooling technologies, the OpenShell security architecture, and updates to the Isaac robotics platform.

At the GTC conference held in Berlin, Nvidia introduced DSX POD, a factory-ready modular data center approach aimed at reducing the deployment time of AI infrastructure from months to weeks. CEO Jensen Huang stated that with this system, customers can quickly scale their capacities and deploy revenue-generating production faster.

In the field of sustainability, the company announced the DSX reference architecture combining closed-loop liquid cooling with DSX MaxLPS software. It was stated that this system can produce the same number of AI tokens while consuming up to 30 percent less power and significantly reducing water consumption.

Announced in the security field, the OpenShell Reference Architecture integrates Vera Rubin computing, Vera CPUs, and BlueField-4 DPUs to monitor and restrict autonomous AI agents. On the other hand, Nvidia announced the expansion of its Isaac robotics platform, stating that Germany-based Agile Robots will release the Agile ONE SN humanoid robot platform powered by Jetson Thor in early 2027.

Nvidia also announced that they are expanding collaborations with telecommunications operators such as T-Mobile, BT, Deutsche Telekom, and Elisa to test artificial intelligence-powered radio access networks (AI-RAN).
