October maternity assistance payments deposited into mothers' accounts

Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that the October birth assistance payments have been deposited into mothers' accounts as of today.

According to a written statement made by Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, 1 million 425 thousand 716 children have benefited from birth assistance to date. While regular monthly payments are made for 828 thousand 730 children who are second, third, and above, it was reported that among the children benefiting from the assistance, 596 thousand 986 were first children, 434 thousand 704 were second children, and 394 thousand 26 were third and above children. It was stated that 33 thousand 343 beneficiaries have twins or more children.

According to the birth assistance amounts updated within the scope of the 2025 Family Year, starting from January 1, 2025, a one-time support of 5 thousand liras is provided for the first child born, a monthly support of 1500 liras for the second child, and a monthly support of 5 thousand liras for the third and subsequent children. To date, a total payment of 30 billion 391 million liras has been made to the accounts of 1 million 386 thousand 701 mothers. It was conveyed that applications are received via e-Government and the "First Teacher My Family" mobile application, and that payments will continue uninterrupted through Halkbank until the children complete the age of 5.
