With the "Invisible Shield Project" carried out within Sivas Science and Technology University (SBTÜ) and supported by TÜBİTAK, a new generation of transparent optical window technology is being developed to protect UAVs and UGVs from electromagnetic interference.

Led by Dr. Ali Altuntepe, the project aims to develop a nanomaterial-based, conductive, and transparent window. The study intends to prevent problems caused by electromagnetic signals that lead to interference, particularly in infrared cameras and optoelectronic devices. The developed hybrid film will allow light transmission without disrupting imaging while protecting electronic components from electromagnetic interference.

In the project involving researchers from SBTÜ, Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University, and Iskenderun Technical University, optimization studies are being conducted using artificial intelligence support and simulation programs. The study, which has potential for use in space and health technologies as well as the defense industry, is planned to be completed within one year.
