Over 56 billion TL in social assistance provided through the Ailekart application

Through the Ailekart application developed by the Ministry of Family and Social Services, social assistance payments continue to be transferred to beneficiaries more quickly and securely. Since the system began with birth grants in September 2025 and expanded its scope as of July 1, 2026, 3 million 580 thousand cards have been distributed to date.

Working in integration with an AI-supported centralized payment system, Ailekart covers 15 different regular social assistance items, including disability and elderly pensions, as well as electricity and natural gas consumption support. According to Ministry data, 24 billion 173 million 107 thousand 900 TL has been paid under birth grants since September 2025, and 31 billion 839 million 443 thousand 314 TL has been paid under other regular social assistance programs since July 2026.
