The Generative AI Summit held at the University of Oxford highlighted concerns regarding corporate AI security, agent reliability, and the financial and operational risks tied to the use of artificial intelligence in the business world.

Corporate AI security was discussed at the Generative AI Summit held at the University of Oxford with the participation of more than 250 researchers, startups, and investors. According to recent studies debated at the conference, making AI agents secure for widespread use appears to be more difficult than previously thought.

Giant corporations such as Microsoft, Meta Platforms, Oracle, Amazon.com, and Alphabet have over $1 trillion in total future lease commitments for data centers, largely dependent on enterprise customers finding profitable AI agents. Researchers such as Christian Schroeder de Witt and Rebecca Finlay presented studies drawing attention to security vulnerabilities that emerge when AI agents collaborate, as well as the shortcomings of agent software in recording activities.
