The Suna and İnan Kıraç Foundation Pera Museum is opening all its exhibitions to free visits on Thursday, October 29, to celebrate the 103rd year of the Republic with art. Visitors will have the opportunity to see a rich selection extending from the exhibitions "Behind the Camera of the Republic" and "Frank Bowling: Creation and Destruction" to Osman Hamdi Bey, Kütahya tiles and ceramics, the Ottoman-European cultural dialogue, and Anatolia's history of weights and measures.

Prepared for the 20th anniversary of the Istanbul Research Institute, the Behind the Camera of the Republic exhibition documents daily life from the 1920s to the early 1950s. Meanwhile, the Frank Bowling: Creation and Destruction exhibition approaches the artist's production alongside the works of Francis Bacon and Victor Willing. The collection exhibitions also feature the legacy of Osman Hamdi Bey, Intersecting Worlds featuring ambassador portraits, the history of measures in Anatolia, and Extraordinary Minas, which examines Minas Avramidis' quest for innovation in Kütahya tiles and ceramics.
