Held at the Zeytinburnu Culture and Arts Center, "The World of a Thinking Writer: Peyami Safa Symposium" was organized on the occasion of the author's 65th passing anniversary. Hosted by the Zeytinburnu Municipality and marking the institution's 20th symposium, the event examined the author's literary and intellectual world across six distinct sessions.

On the first day of the symposium, discussions focused on Peyami Safa's conception of the novel through form and intertextuality debates surrounding his work "Bir Tereddüdün Romanı" (A Novel of Hesitation), as well as the detective works he penned under the pen name Server Bedi. On the second day, the author's various works and intellectual world were evaluated under multiple headings.

The event concluded with Prof. Dr. Seval Şahin's closing speech titled "Reading Peyami Safa Incompletely." While the symposium sessions were broadcast live on Zeytinburnu Culture and Arts' YouTube channel, the presented papers are planned to be published as a book in the future.
