Porsche, Audi'nin yeni spor otomobilinin platformunu doğruladı!

In an announcement made during its recent financial meeting, Porsche officially confirmed that Audi's new electric sports car project, named Concept C, will use the electric platform developed specifically for the 718 Boxster and Cayman models.

Porsche officials stated that the electric platform prepared for the 718 Boxster and Cayman, which is scheduled to be released next year, has been made available for an Audi project. It was stated that a cash flow will be generated from this collaboration carried out within the scope of this project, referred to internally at Audi as C-Sport, and this payment is expected to be received in 2027.

While platform sharing among brands under the Volkswagen Group umbrella has been discussed for a long time, it is known that all three models will hit the road as fully electric. On the other hand, while the extent to which the C-Sport model's powertrain will share commonalities with the Porsche versions has not yet been clarified, battery and motor options are expected to be the main elements distinguishing these vehicles from one another. Audi is preparing to position this new model between the TT and R8 models.
