President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated in his video message released for the 103rd anniversary of the Republic that Turkey has maintained its stability during a period of conflicts and crises in its immediate surroundings and the world, and has assumed responsibility for the resolution of disputes.

Reminding that the War of Independence was won under the leadership of Gazi Mustafa Kemal, Erdoğan noted that significant progress has been made in many fields over the past 24 years, from the defense industry to energy, and from transportation to diplomacy. He stated that the 86 million will unite around common values and advance toward the goal of the Turkey Century.
