A new literary competition called the "Prix Pascal" has been established in France to reward literary works created using artificial intelligence (AI). Writers from all over the world can apply for the competition until the end of November.

According to information on the Prix Pascal website, anyone, regardless of literary experience or nationality, can submit a work written with the assistance of artificial intelligence until the end of November. The fundamental conditions for participating in the contest are that the text has not been published before and is written in French.

The award takes its name from Blaise Pascal (1623-62), the mathematician, physicist, philosopher, and theologian who invented the mechanical calculator and authored the collection of sayings titled "Pensées" (Thoughts). In the competition, which started as of Tuesday, a jury will select 10 finalists at the end of November, and the winner will be announced in early December. The person who wins the award will receive a cash prize, have their work published, and receive media promotion.
