Konya’nın kültür haritası: Tarihî mirasın ardında kimler, ne sunuyor?

Beyond its deep-rooted history extending from Mevlana to Seljuk works, Konya's culture and art life spans a wide area with municipal projects, university workshops, and the activities of literature associations.

Depo No:4, which was repurposed and brought into the cultural world by Konya Metropolitan Municipality, and the Tantavi Culture and Art Center in Meram contribute to the city's art life through temporary exhibitions and works that bring together different disciplines. Within this scope, the "Eastern Tales: Once Upon a Time" exhibition brings together the works of painters from Turkey and different geographies. In the institutional field, Selçuk University Faculty of Fine Arts provides education in the fields of Traditional Turkish Arts, Ceramics, Painting, Graphics, Sculpture, Industrial Design, and Cartoon and Animation.

The Konya Branch of the Writers Union of Turkey announced that it held 60 events throughout 2025. Within the scope of the "One Day with Photography in Konya" event held in July 2026, a photography exhibition, Reha Bilir's presentation titled "What is Art?", and the works of Sille Art Palace members took place in a program organized by Hakan Bahçeci. In addition, organizations such as the Konya Branch of the Turkish Language and Literature Association, the Anatolian Seljuk Photography Association, the Hikmet Science and Art Association, as well as Çizgi Bookstore, Hüner Publishing House, and Selçukya, support city culture.
