In a statement made by the Galatasaray Medical Committee, it was reported that Rafael Leao, who had to leave the field holding his groin shortly after coming on as a substitute in the Gençlerbirliği match, underwent MR scans and examinations at Acıbadem. As a result of the examinations, it was stated that a mild-to-moderate strain was detected in the player's muscle, his treatment has been initiated, and his condition will be monitored daily.
It was reported that the 27-year-old footballer, who is confirmed to miss tomorrow's UEFA Champions League match against Lille, is being worked on to be ready for the Fenerbahçe derby. Leao had entered the Gençlerbirliği match in the 61st minute but had to come off due to injury in the 77th minute.
