Ramp Opens Its Internal AI Tool Glass to Other Companies
Spend management platform Ramp is making its internally developed AI tool, Glass, commercially available following heavy AI token expenditures.
Ramp announced in a company blog post by co-founder and co-CEO Eric Glyman that its internally developed AI tool, Glass, will be made available for other companies to use.
A Solution Born from AI Expenditures
Ramp built the platform named Glass following an intensive week in May during which it spent $1.5 million on AI tokens.
Core Functions of the Glass Tool
Glass was designed to transform company-specific information into tools that can be used across the entire organization and enabled the restructuring of workflow systems.
Employee Engagement and Platform Data
So far, 323 Ramp employees have made more than 6,500 edits on the platform's knowledge base.
Cost Tracking and Model Selection
The product comes with a meter that allows users to see the cost of the work done in real-time, while each request is routed through the Ramp Router, which selects the appropriate model.
