Renewable Energy Resource Areas Competitions Will Be Held in November

It has been reported by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources that competitions regarding the allocation of wind and solar-based Renewable Energy Resource Areas (YEKA) and connection capacities will be held on November 2 and 3. According to the announced capacity planning, an allocation of 1,500 megawatts for 7 sites in wind energy and 785 megawatts for 11 sites in solar energy will be carried out.

According to the schedule announced by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, the allocation competitions for wind and solar-based Renewable Energy Resource Areas (YEKA) and connection capacities will be held on November 2-3. In the official statement made, it was stated that a total capacity of 1,500 megawatts for 7 different sites in the field of wind energy and a total of 785 megawatts for 11 sites in the field of solar energy will be allocated.
