Eugenia Kuyda, founder of Replika and Luka, has realized the vision of an AI assistant she first pitched on the TechCrunch Disrupt stage 12 years ago with Wabi. Wabi has officially launched as a messaging app that allows users to create multi-agent threads for different tasks and use custom applications.

Eugenia Kuyda has evolved the lifestyle concierge chatbot concept she introduced 12 years ago with her first startup, Luka, bringing it today into Wabi. Having stepped down as CEO of Replika last year, Kuyda has entered the personal AI assistant market with her new venture, Wabi. While Wabi was initially announced as a social platform focused on mini-app creation, with version 2.0 it has evolved into a structure where the agent can generate applications on behalf of the user. When users connect their email accounts, Wabi automatically creates various threads and applications.
