Addressing Anatolia's rural geographies from an architecture and design perspective, the "Rural and Future" exhibition opened its doors at Ankara CerModern HUB following its screening in Istanbul. The exhibition, which emerged as a result of the work carried out at the Istanbul Technical University Faculty of Architecture between 2020 and 2024, can be visited until November 21.

Born from the Rural & Future design studio at the Istanbul Technical University Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture, the exhibition focuses on eight different geographical regions: Şile, Bandırma, the Menderes Basin, the Harran Plain, the Çoruh Basin, the Taurus Mountains, the Upper Euphrates Basin, and the Lake Van Basin. The 32 architectural projects developed for these regions offer viewers alternative living scenarios blending nature, human, local culture, and technology. Curated by Prof. Dr. Ayşe Şentürer and Yeşim Armağan, the event consists of three main sections: Outlook, Voices from Out-of-Town, and Projections.
