Former NFL quarterback Russell Wilson and singer Ciara have joined wearable health technology company Qalo as partners and investors. Founded in 2013 and known for its silicone rings, the company aims to accelerate its growth in the health monitoring devices sector through this collaboration.

Super Bowl champion Russell Wilson and Grammy-award-winning artist Ciara will work alongside Qalo's leadership team to contribute to the brand's strategic development in health, performance, and technology. The duo aims to increase awareness of the company's new products by leveraging their experience in the sports and entertainment world.

Qalo CEO Jake Curreri stated that the involvement of Wilson and Ciara supports the vision of bringing health insights to broader audiences beyond elite athletes. The company offers a subscription-free health tracking platform with its SR-2 Smart Ring and SL-1 Smart Bracelet products.

Having reached over 2.2 million customers since 2013, Qalo announced that its wearable device user base grew by over 400 percent year-over-year. The new devices provide the ability to track sleep, recovery, stress, and activity data through a single platform without a subscription fee.
