Scandinavian Press Delegation Examines Thermal Rehabilitation Center in Pamukkale
An 8-member press delegation from Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland visited PAÜTERM in Denizli to receive information about the center's health tourism capacity and robotic rehabilitation technologies.
As part of promotional efforts coordinated by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Ministry of Health, an 8-member press delegation from Scandinavian countries visited the Pamukkale University Thermal Rehabilitation Center (PAÜTERM) on October 16, 2026.
Provincial Health Director Berna Öztürk, Provincial Culture and Tourism Director Nail Uyar, and PAÜ Hospitals Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Hakan Alkan attended the visit program. During the event, a presentation covering the center's thermal resources, robotic rehabilitation infrastructure, and international patient coordination processes was delivered by Lecturer Dr. Sinem Söyler, the person in charge of the PAÜ Health Tourism Unit.
During the field trip, the delegation examined the facility's hydrotherapy pools and treatment units on-site, gaining detailed information about the center's health tourism potential.
