Science and Technology Workshops Established in Village Schools in Samsun

Canik Municipality Özdemir Bayraktar Discovery Campus brings students together with virtual reality, artificial intelligence, robotic coding, and mobile planetarium activities through science and technology workshops established in schools in rural neighborhoods.

Within the scope of the project implemented by Canik Municipality Özdemir Bayraktar Discovery Campus, different workshops are set up every week in schools in rural neighborhoods. In the programs also carried out at Canik Hacınaipli Primary and Secondary School, students are introduced to virtual reality technologies and find the opportunity to learn through experiment and observation studies. Accompanied by expert instructors, training is provided in mind and intelligence games, personal development activities, as well as artificial intelligence, robotic coding, cyber security, and software. In addition, the municipality's mobile planetarium is included in the projects.

Canik Mayor İbrahim Sandıkçı stated that they have prepared a program covering all schools in the district throughout the academic year, and noted that they convey information to students about the ideal of the National Technology Move and domestic production in the defense industry. Mayor Sandıkçı recorded that free training and science talks attended by citizens of all ages continue at Özdemir Bayraktar Discovery Campus.
