Science Festival at Uşak University: Students Met with Technology and Art

The science and technology event held on the Uşak University campus brought together students and participants from different age groups. In the workshops prepared by Bilim Uşak, participants got to know scientific studies closely and also took part in various practical applications.

In the events held at various points across the campus, particularly the university's football field, technological applications and artistic works came together in the same program. Students both acquired new knowledge at the established stations and experienced what they learned through hands-on activities.

One of the remarkable parts of the event was the technology workshop where virtual reality (VR) goggles were used. Participants, who had the opportunity to examine details invisible to the naked eye at microscope stations, also showed great interest in observation activities carried out with telescopes.

While technology-oriented applications were carried out at the robotic stations established within the scope of the program, Spin Art and canvas painting workshops were also organized as part of the event which incorporated art. In a statement following the event, Bilim Uşak stated that it will continue its efforts aimed at developing students' scientific curiosity.
