Founded in 2012 and known in the domestic apparel sector with the Bad Bear brand, Selçuk Mağazacılık failed to overcome its financial bottleneck and faced a bankruptcy decision.

Selçuk Mağazacılık, a partnership between Seyhan Selçuk and Kadir Çalışkanlar, could not complete the concordat process it entered due to economic difficulties. The Istanbul 3rd Commercial Court of First Instance ruled for the company's bankruptcy as of October 8, 2026.

The company had previously implemented a rescue plan involving the repayment of debts in 12 equal installments over 36 months. However, according to information reported by Para Magazine, despite the initial payments made, the plan did not provide the expected financial recovery.
